My sensibility for design has been developed through years of independent practice and informed by the knowledge passed from potter to potter.

​Function is central to my design philosophy. I aim to create objects that invite touch and quiet interaction, where material and form work together to enhance the user’s experience. Often incorporating wood ash glazes, a material I have witnessed in its full cycle from living tree to fire to ash, I bring a direct connection to nature into my work.
